Need information about using the shopping cart on the Federal Publications website?

1. Mailing & Billing Information. More information about Bill To and Ship To addresses is available here.
   • Enter your billing address first. This should be the address on file with your credit card company. Please provide a valid e-mail address and phone number in case we need to contact you about this specific order. Your information is protected by our privacy policy and is not used for marketing purposes.
   • If the shipping address is different, please add it to the "Alternate Shipping Address" section.
   • By law, we are required to add taxes to orders shipped in Canada. In select cases, you or your organization may be exempt from tax. If so, please indicate the exemption numbers here. We reserve the right to request proof to tax exempt status.
   • Click the "Next" button

2. Shipping Method. Delivery options for the mailing address you provided are listed here. Click here for more information about shipping fees and here for delivery times.
   • Click on a button to make your selection. The shipping options are determined by the region we're shipping to: Canada, U.S.A., or international destinations.
   • You may type in specific instructions in the box under Shipping Instructions. For example, "Please ship maps rolled in a tube".
   • Taxes are automatically added to orders shipped in Canada. In select cases, you or your organization may be exempt from tax. If so, please indicate the exemption numbers here.
   • Click the "Next" button

3. Payment Information. The total amount of your purchase, including shipping and taxes appears at the top of the screen. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. For more information about payment methods, click here.
   • Enter your name as it appears on the front of your credit card.
   • Enter your credit card number
   • Enter the Credit Card Security Code (CVV2) as it appears on the back of your credit card.
   • Select the credit card type from the drop down list.
   • Enter the expiry date of your credit card.
   • Verify you have entered the correct credit card number and expiry date.
   • Verify the Mailing & Billing Information in the middle of the page is correct
   • Verify the Alternate Shipping Address at the bottom of the page is correct
   • Click the "Submit Order" button, which appears just below your credit card information.

4. Order Confirmation. This screen appears after you have clicked the "Submit Order" button. It contains the items purchased, the mailing and billing information, an alternate shipping address (if provided), the type of credit card used, the name of the cardholder and the expiry date. For security reasons, the number of the credit card provided does not appear.
   • Please make a note of the Order Number
