| Introduction to Federal Income Taxation in
Canada is specially designed for students studying taxation and suitable
for others in accounting, business, economics and law interested in developing
a general understanding of federal tax law. Contents are arranged in a sequence which follows the organization of the Act. Each chapter includes extensive examples and exercises designed to test the reader's grasp of the material (solutions are reproduced at the end of the book). All assignment materials are carefully prepared and proofed for accuracy. A perspective on tax planning and decision-making, and guidelines to tax research using electronic products are additional text features. The 30th edition of this book has been updated to include legislation enacted from proposals up to and including the January 27, 2009 federal Budget. Reference is made to proposed amendments from Bill C-10, Income Tax Amendment Act, 2006. This Bill was terminated with the 2008 federal election, and was not re-introduced after that.
