Insects of the Eastern Larch, Cedar and
Juniper is designed to enable people interested in trees to identify
insects species or groups that have caused damage to larch, cedar, and juniper
in Canada east of the Rocky Mountains. About eighty-five species that have
caused damage or which are commonly found on these trees are covered. Flow
charts keys are included to assist in identification. Also included are colour
illustrations and photographs, biological sketches of causal insects and
illustrations of life stages. Injury by birds, mammals, mites and other agents
is also covered. Common names of insects are used, but scientific names are
