| 21 December 2004 This document sets out an estimation of the budgetary burden of taxes, child care and housing for 1988 and 2003 for dual-earner middle-class families with young children. The report shows that this estimated burden on the budget of such families saw no significant improvement from 1988 to 2003 (in real terms), although it did improve slightly for families residing in the largest metropolitan areas. |
