Description of last year's 2010 edition:

This is an annual publication which provides annotations of noteworthy court decisions interpreting the various provisions of Ontario's Employment Standards Act.

The Annotated Ontario Employment Standards Act includes the full text of the statute and all regulations made under it together with annotations under the appropriate sections. The work also includes all key regulations and forms prescribed under it and related statutes, such as selected sections of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act dealing with deemed trusts for wages owed to employees by a bankrupt.

The 2010 edition also includes for the first time the complete text, with commentary and associated forms and information bulletins, of the Employment Protection for Foreign Nationals Act (Live-in Caregivers and Others), 2009, S.O. 2009, c. 32, which enacts certain protections for foreign nationals brought to Ontario as live-in caregivers against abusers by their employers in Canada or employment agencies.
