Description:
Ontario Education Statutes and Regulations 2008 incorporates all amendments to key Ontario education legislation since the previous edition. These include the Education Statute Law Amendment Act (Student Performance), 2006, which amended the Education Act, the Ontario College of Teachers Act, 1996, and other statutes, and dealt with matters such as trustee honoraria, student trustees, new teacher orientation and induction, professional development days, and compliance by school boards. The amendments contained in the Education Statute Law Amendment Act (Learning to 18), 2005, are also included. This legislation has received Royal Assent but some sections have not yet been proclaimed in force, as indicated in this volume.
