This invaluable guide is the perfect tool for all professionals who deal in matters touching on education law.

This year's edition includes authoritative and insightful commentary on a wide range of significant education law issues including:

The proposed repeal of Division F of Part IX of the Education Act and subsequent amendments to Division C of Part IX, will require boards to submit to the Minister (1) a financial plan before any money is raised, as well as, (2) a spending report specifying how all money was spent, which is to be posted on the Ministry website.
  • Introduction of Bill 55, Education Amendment Act (Organ Donation Education) 2010, to promote organ donation education by requiring that every school board establish in the senior secondary school division a curriculum which stresses the importance of organ donation.
  • Amendments to the Education Act by the Good Government Act, 2011, S.O. 2011, c. 1, Sch. 3, regarding French-language programs for English pupils.
  • Amendments to the Education Act by the Better Tomorrow for Ontario Act (Budget Measures) 2011, S.O. 2011, c. 9, Sch. 10, regarding the delivery of extended day or third party programs.
