The Idioms series introduces useful, everyday, idiomatic
expressions, all in appropriate situations. Learn the most common idioms and
understand this essential part of learning everyday language. Idioms are
expressions that do not have the same meaning as the individual words used in
them. The books and cassettes are designed to be self-instructional. Idioms 1 includes idioms on time, failure, success, money, compromise, contradiction, disagreement, bureaucracy, winning... and more. At this time, the book for Idioms 1 is the only publication in this series to have been revised in 2005.
