Écrire 1 and Écrire 2 deal with the language used in the workplace to take messages and write various types of texts: notes, agendas, reports and articles.
The two books offer a total of nearly 400 examples taken from work-related situations, accompanied by multiple choice questions. There are three types of tasks the user must perform:
Both books examine the structures, grammar and vocabulary required to communicate in writing as part of a person's job duties. The materials include answer sheets and answer keys. An evaluation grid contains language elements measured by categories, making it easy for users to identify areas that need work.
Measured language elements:
Écrire 1 and Écrire 2 are patterned after the second language evaluation tool used by the federal government. Écrire 1 prepares users for bilingualism Level A (beginning of intermediate).
