well as immigration or refugee decision-makers, journalists, or researchers who
must consult primary immigration law on a frequent basis, the Immigration
Practitioners Handbook is designed as a practical tool and should
serve as a reference book for students enrolled in immigration consulting
courses throughout Canada. It is also designed to assist immigration
consultants in preparing for the Professional Standards Exam, which all current
consultants must pass to become a member of the Canadian Society of Immigration
Consultants (CSIC).
