Preventive Health Care is a comprehensive reference guide on preventive
health measures from the world-renowned Canadian Task Force on the Periodic
Health Examination. By using a consistent system of evidence-based analysis,
the guide evaluates whether or not medical conditions are preventable. These
recommendations help physicians choose proven screening tests, provide guidance
on which patients to test (and when) and distinguish appropriate tests from
