2013 Customs Tariff Departmental Consolidation |
| May 15, 2013: A revised
Departmental Consolidation of the Customs Tariff is in preparation, reflecting
changes brought about by the April 1st implementation of the Canada-Panama Free
Trade Agreement (Panama Tariff PAT – Code 28), March Tariff Amendment
T2013-1, and April Tariff Amendment T2013-2. Originally scheduled for released
in April, the revised version won't be released until later in June, for
$99.95/copy (plus applicable shipping and tax). All changes to the 2013 Customs
Tariff are available online on the
Canada Border Services Agency website. Standing order clients
will be sent the revised version directly from Ottawa upon release and all
sales are final. |

| The Departmental
Consolidation of the 2013 Customs Tariff is based on information
available at the time of printing. Any changes enacted after that date are
reflected in subsequent amendment packages. The 2013 Tariff is updated
as further changes occur throughout the year (see table below for
updates). The Customs Tariff is the Canada Border Services Agency's loose-leaf departmental consolidation of Canada's import duty rates. The Tariff contains the schedule of duty rates for goods imported into Canada, based on the "Harmonized System." It also contains a listing of applicable tariffs according to country of origin. This departmental consolidation is based on information available at the time of publishing. The Tariff is valid only for the calendar year for which it is issued, and it is amended periodically over the course of the year. Please see below for amendments released to date. Clients may wish to receive these priced amendments as they are released by registering a standing order with us. Standing order service is available to automatically receive new issues. |
