Aeronautical Charts
At Federal Publications we carry three types of Canadian aeronautical charts:
World Aeronautical Charts (WAC), VFR Terminal Area Charts (VTA) and VFR Navigation Charts (VNC).
Each type of chart has a different scale and serve the different requirements of visual navigation.
  • WAC Charts: Produced at a 1:1,000,000 scale, for extended cross country flight.
  • VFR Terminal Area (VTA) Charts: Produced at a 1:250,000 scale. These charts provide detailed VFR information in congested areas. VTA charts available include: Montreal, Toronto, Winnipeg, Calgary/Edmonton, and Vancouver.
  • VFR Navigation (VNC) Charts: Produced at a 1:500,000 scale, for short to extended cross country flights.

Price of each aeronautical chart: $15.00 plus GST and PST (if applicable).
