December 19, 2001: Please note, the publisher J-K Carruthers Limited has advised us that the 2001-2002 edtion will be the final edition of the Federal Guidebook. The publisher will continue to update personnel changes until the spring of 2002. These changes will be on the publisher's website until June 2002. |
Federal Guidebook 2001-2002 is a guide to the Canadian
federal government and its decision-makers. This desktop reference is useful
for everyone who deals with the Federal Government -- whether it be lawyers or
lobbyists, government affairs specialists or government officials, librarians
or private citizens, members of Parliament or members of the media, management
consulting firms or corporate executives. Many executives with the federal government rely on the Federal Guidebook as their primary desktop reference, to track changes within the federal bureaucracy and to determine quickly who speak in other departments and agencies. Most departments include listings at the Director and Director General level, as well as more senior executives, since much of the work of government takes place at these middle executive ranks. Access to the publisher's web version is included with the purchase of each book (a unique single-user sign-on name and password is included with every copy). The new binder format makes it easy for subscribers to download updated changes. Edited by Mary Ferguson. Published by J-K Carruthers Ltd., 2001. |
