Canoeing on the Grand River

Canoeing on the Grand River is the only canoeing guide for this popular Canadian Heritage River in southwestern Ontario. Few rivers in Canada have seen as much of the flow of our nation's history as the Grand.

The book follows the Grand from Belwood Lake just upriver of Fergus to Port Maitland at the mouth of the Grand at Lake Erie.

Canoeing on the Grand River contains numerous photos that illustrate the look of the river, and 11 fold out maps that provide the lay of the river. It also includes access points, parking, portages, points of interest, and the location of dams.

Trip planning information at the back of the book provides the names and telephone numbers of canoe outfitters, camping areas, and other accomodation.

Canoeing on the Grand River is as esserntial in your canoe as your PFD and your paddles.
