| Work Absence Rates presents trends in workplace absenteeism
in Canada over an 11 year period. It contains a breakdown of absences from work
for personal reasons (illness or disability and personal or family
responsibilities) by various demographic and labour market characteristics.
Only full-time employees have been considered in this analysis. Tables and
charts provide information on absence rates by sex, age, industry, public and
private sector, occupation, province, region and presence of children.
