Human Rights Policy in Ontario |
Human Rights Policy in Ontario is a compendium of policy
papers and guidelines produced by the Ontario Human Rights Commission in
partnership with CCH Canadian Limited. The purpose of the Commissions policies and guidelines is to help in the understanding and interpretation of how the Human Rights Code is applied in a variety of situations. The new edition provides guidance on a number of human rights issues such as sexual harassment, racial discrimination, and accommodation issues in the workplace. It also features new and updated policies in the areas of disability, drug and alcohol testing, sexual orientation, pregnancy and gender identity. |
This publication, says the OHRCs Chief Commissioner Keith Norton, is intended to assist everyone in creating an environment where human rights are respected and promoted. |
