He also served as a political minister counselor at the U.S. Embassy in Ottawa from 1992 to 1996. David W. Kilgour (Ottawa, Ontario) has had a distinguished career in Canadian federal politics as an MP in both the Conservative and Liberal parties. During over 26 years in parliament, he also served as Secretary of State for Latin America & Africa, Secretary of State for Asia-Pacific and Deputy Speaker of the House. |
