She has been honoured with the Audubon Society’s Rachel Carson Award, the Feminist Majority’s Elinor Roosevelt Award, and by Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s Riverkeeper organization. Laurie David lives with her husband and two children in Los Angeles, California. Cambria Gordon is an award-winning former advertising copywriter who now pursues children’s writing full-time. Cambria is an active environmentalist and lives with her husband and their three children in Los Angeles, California.
